Here a selection of some of the Cupcakes I made early this morning, my bride wanted half to be chocolate and the other half vanilla topped with a fresh strawberry.
I used Green and Black's Cocoa Powder to get a kick of chocolate in the cake and 72% dark madagascan chocolate melted into the buttercream icing.
The cupcakes were then topped with an assortment of chocolate buttons, maltesers, chunks of chocolate, honeycomb sprinkles, grated chocolate and silver glitter.
The strawberries smelt delicious this morning, their flavour mixes beautifully with vanilla buttercream.
I delivered them to the Halfway Bistro (http://www.thehalfwaybistro.com) on the A4 between Newbury and Hungerford, the Wedding table looked lovely.
(and having looked at their reviews on tripadvisor it looks a great place to go for a meal, it's currently 2nd in Newbury Restaurants, I think I will be going back!)
